I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with clinical experience in the fields of Neurological Rehabilitation, Neuropsychiatry and Mental Health Healthcare. My research interests follow this experience, and include:

• The Analysis and Rehabilitation of Movement and Cognitive-Perceptual dysfunction as a consequence of Neurological damage and disease.
• The Long-term Rehabilitation and Management of Neurological Disorders. Special interest in Stroke, Acquired Brain Injury, Dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
• Neuromuscular control of Posture and Movement and the resultant consequences of neurological dysfunction on postural control and balance.
• Psychosocial and Communicative aspects of Therapeutic Engagement between Healthcare professionals and students with people with Mental Health Disorders.
