Mrs Alison Day
Graduated BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy 1997 from the University of Wales College of Medicine. Developed an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy supported with a variety of roles, including for the past 8 years Clinical Specialist/Extended Scope Practitioner as part of a Musculoskeletal Triage Team, and post graduate qualifications including PGDip Manipulative Therapy (leading to membership of the MACP) and Injection Therapy module- having practiced musculoskeletal injections for the past 5 years.
My main teaching/research interests are in musculoskeletal physiotherapy including rheumatology with a particular interest in spinal dysfunction. I have been involved in lecturing as part of the MSc Neuromusculoskeletal programme in the past.
My main role within Cardiff University is as part of the musculoskeletal team, involved with teaching/assessment/clinical visiting on the BSc Physiotherapy programme.
