Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks

In order to be eligible to enrol, you must obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Record Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Finance and bursaries

As a healthcare student, your tuition fees will be paid directly by the Welsh Government and you may receive a bursary to help with the cost of studying.

As your health and well-being is vital to your future career, there are certain tasks to be completed before you can go on clinical placement.

All overseas, EU and Channel Island students, together with self-supporting students and those students funded by their Local Education Authority, are responsible for full payment of all clinical uniform for the duration of the programme.
