Information about term dates for years 1-5, examination dates and graduation dates.
Student opinion regarding the Dental undergraduate programme is obtained in a variety of ways. There are student representatives on the majority of School of Dentistry committees and students provide feedback through the Student Appraisal of Teaching mechanism.
Throughout the course of your studies, you will be actively encouraged to provide feedback on your learning experience.
Students’ academic and professional progress is monitored continually throughout the course. This is to ensure that students who may be experiencing difficulties may be identified and given appropriate help and guidance.
The majority of the teaching (and learning) takes place on the Heath Park Campus.
There are two types of assessment - Summative and Formative.
On occasions a small number of students find that clinical dentistry is not something that they will feel able to undertake comfortably for the rest of their life.
Students will be expected to acquire the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) during the first 18 months of the course.
One of the aims of the programme is to develop your self-learning skills.
