Research at the School of Dentistry

Students conducting research in a lab

Our thriving and innovative research culture has one overarching aim: to produce high quality, impactful research that addresses key global challenges around oral and general health.

Our various research groups - made up of academics who are recognised as leaders in their respective fields - conduct specialised research which has helped improve the lives of people across Wales, the UK and beyond.

We work in close partnership with local, national and international organisations and stakeholders to seek out, and address, important questions to improve the world around us.
