Chemistry with a Year Abroad (MChem)

This MChem scheme is common with the first two years of the MChem in Chemistry, but the third year is spent in a research laboratory in an overseas university. Some distance learning is carried out to develop academic knowledge in essential areas. On return to Cardiff, the fourth year is partly in common with the MChem Chemistry students, but alternative modules are provided to ensure full coverage of the subject. Accordingly, a shorter research project is carried out.
