Research Interests
The underlying theme of research within the Griffiths group focuses on the fundamental physico-chemical properties of "soft matter" (also known as "nanotechnology"); structured fluid materials comprising particles, polymers and surfactants in a low molecular weight solvent. An innovative and unique approach in employed in which structure-dynamics relationships of such systems are quantified by combining several complementary techniques ranging from spectroscopy to scattering.
