Research Overview
My current work focuses on the molecular cell biology of lithium and other psychotropic drugs, with the aim of developing new therapeutic strategies. I particularly investigate phospho-inositide signaling and the functions of the protein kinase GSK-3. Research in my group combines a range of cell biological, biochemical and molecular genetic techniques in mouse and Dictyostelium model systems.
