Dr. Isabelle Durance, AE, PhD. (formerly Isabelle Poudevigne)
Overview
Working as part of the Individuals, Ecosystems and Global Change research group led by Prof Steve Ormerod,
my current research focuses on:
- the application of landscape ecology to biodiversity conservation
- detecting and modelling the consequences of climate change for river ecosystems.
- modelling the relationship between land use changes, climate change and major ecosystem services like water quality
Funded by a Leverhulme fellowship, my research involves the analysis of large scale, long term patterns in species distribution and environmental character, often drawing on large-scale ecosystem experiments.
