The Vertical Studios were a great success. 12 workshops with diverse subjects on design and research. Every workshop consisted of at least 2 tutors leading 12 students from year 1 or year 2.
140 students participated during intensive five week in specific studios, generating architectural concepts and fascinating spaces; analysing and mapping concrete social and environmental problems into academia; framing fast fabircation; etc.
The last 22nd and 23rd of May we celebrated our final crits with the attendance of over 30 reviewers. It was also an impressive event where we have visitors from Wales, UK and overseas.
Finally, The feedbacks from the students (questionaires) indicate a high level of satisfaction: over 95%.
Thanks to the WSA staff, friends and colleagues, tutors and, above all, our students who made this
experimental teaching experience a great success.
