Research Interests
Simulation methods in assessment of building performance. In particular, the development and use of thermal and ventilation simulation models (HTB2), the use of physical scale modelling in ventilation design physical scale modelling of daylight and sunlight. I also maintain active interests in instrumentation and in field and laboratory measurement techniques.

Teaching Profile
I am the co-ordinator of the department's Architectural Science Masters (ASM) programmes, and also scheme leader of the MSc in Building Energy & Environmental Performance Modelling scheme.
I lead the ASM core modules Site and Environment and Efficient Services, and the specialist masters modules Building Performance Modelling, Explorations in Modelling, and Environmental Design Modelling.
