Sir Karl Jenkins
Sir Karl is a composer and musician who is known for modern classics such as 'Adiemus', 'The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace' and 'Palladio'. His recording work includes scores for Hollywood films, documentaries and adverts that have won several awards including 17 gold and platinum discs. He was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the University in 2005.
James is a co-vocalist and keyboard player for the London based new rave band, Klaxons. The band has won several industry awards in the UK and abroad since releasing their first album in 2007. These include the Mercury Prize for Best Album and the NME Award for Best New Band.

Nick is a film-maker responsible for films including, 'Kurt & Courtney'; 'Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer'; and 'Battle for Haditha'. He has won numerous awards for his films including the first Sundance Award, a BAFTA Award, a Peabody Award, a Grierson Award, a Hague Peace Prize and the Amnesty International DOEN Award.
Siân Phillips CBE
Siân is a multi award winning actress including a BAFTA award winner She has appeared in many films and drama series including 'Dune'; 'I, Claudius'; 'How Green Was My Valley'; 'Smiley's People' and 'Clash of the Titans'.
She has also appeared in several National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company productions. Siân was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the University in 1984.
He wrote three series of the situation comedy for young people, 'Sadie J' for CBBC/BBC 1.
Robert also created, wrote and starred in the comedy series for ITV1, "Edge of Heaven".
He wrote several episodes of the BAFTA award winning comedy drama series, 'Stella' for SKY ONE and the sitcom "Green Green Grass" for the BBC.
