The Optometry Building is located on Maindy Road, off Cathays Terrace. There is level access into the building via automatic doors and the Eye Clinic is on the left.

The on-site public eye clinic is situated to the left as you enter the building and the lift and stairs are straight ahead servicing all floors.

On the ground floor there are accessible cubicles in the male and female toilets towards the back of the entrance lobby. Close to the lift there is an accessible unisex toilet (room number 0.59) and a mother and baby toilet. On the first floor, left out of the lift there are two accessible unisex toilets (1.53 and 1.54).

Parking

University car parks are monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and foot patrol officers.

Only authorised vehicles that have paid for parking can use the car parks.

Certain car parks offer Pay as you go (PAYG) parking via RingGo, details of these car parks can be found on our Visitor Parking page

Blue Badge holders can park for free but will need to email their vehicle registration number to carparking@cardiff.ac.uk within 24 hours of their visit.
