University accommodation

The following three residences are available for you to visit. If you’d like to find out more about our accommodation generally, please visit our Accommodation stand in the open Day exhibition in the Centre for Student Life.

1. Senghennydd Hall

  • £187 per week for 2026/2027
  • Part-catered, en-suite
  • 5 minutes’ walk from Main Building
  • City centre location.

Time: Throughout the day

Last entry 15:45. Entrance on Senghennydd Road

2. Talybont Court

  • £179 per week for 2026/2027
  • Self-catered, en-suite
  • 15 minutes walk from Main Building

The communal area of an accessible flat is also available to view on request. Please speak to a member of staff at the residence for further details.

3. Talybont South

  • £167 per week for 2026/2027
  • Self-catered, en-suite
  • 20 minutes walk from Main Building
  • Shuttle bus available on Open Day.

Time: Throughout the day
Duration: Allow at least 45 minutes for the round trip, including viewing the residences in Talybont (last entry at 15:45)

A shuttle bus is available for tours of Talybont Court and Talybont South. The Heath Park shuttle bus also stops at the Talybont Residences on its return journey to the Cathays Park Campus.
