Entry requirements for Paraguay

Entry onto our courses will depend on the qualifications you have been awarded in Paraguay and your English language ability.

International Foundation Programme

If you have graduated from the national high school system, you may be required to successfully complete an International Foundation Year before entering our undergraduate courses.

Undergraduate courses

You will need to have completed A-levels, an International Baccalaureate, a Foundation course, or year one of a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Postgraduate courses

You will need to have completed a Titulo de Licenciado/Licenciatura with a final grade of at least 3/5 or 70%.

Postgraduate research courses

If you are applying for research courses from Paraguay, you will be required to provide evidence that you have already carried out research, usually via the successful completion of a relevant masters' degree.

You will need to have successfully completed the Título de Maestría / Magíster with a final grade of at least 3/5 or 70%.

English language

A relevant English language qualification is also required — normally a minimum of 6.5 IELTS. However, this may vary from course to course.
