Located under one roof in an attractive and stimulating environment designed to encourage out-of-the-ordinary creative thinking, SPARK brings together Cardiff University’s internationally leading social science research centres and institutes alongside our expansive, multi sector partners.

Throughout the pandemic our social scientists have played a vital part in addressing the needs of governments, the economy, our public services, local communities and the most vulnerable in society. The need for interdisciplinary, complex, social science led research working collaboratively with industry partners has never been greater.

Membership consists of three key strands:

Occupancy	For individuals, teams or whole organisation
Collaborative agreement	Spanning research, innovation and skills agendas, how you want to work with us
Access and support	A dedicated SPARK Community Manager to support you in developing your relationships across the University and beyond Access to bespoke facilities, meeting rooms and event space

Application and pricing

Membership ranges from £56 a month for a hot desk arrangement to £220 for a dedicated desk.
