This module continues from Intermediate I and uses New HSK Course 3 (HSK 3.0), covering Lessons 7–12.
Students will develop greater fluency and accuracy through more advanced sentence structures and discourse patterns.
On successful completion of the module a student will be able to:
- describe events and situations more fluently;
- use comparative structures, complements of duration and direction, and progressive complex sentences;
- express opinions and provide explanations using connected sentences;
- demonstrate knowledge of approximately 800 words.
Learning and teaching
This course is for learners who have completed Chinese Intermediate I or equivalent study.
How the module will be delivered
Teaching includes communicative tasks, discussions, guided grammar activities, and reading-based exercises.
