Community provision and awards ceremony

Lifelong Learning has a long history of delivering courses to the local community.

Do you live in Cardiff, Caerphilly, Newport, or Blaenau Gwent and are interested in returning to study?

All courses are free of charge

We offer courses across multiple subjects.

  • Health and Social Care
  • Creative writing
  • Child Psychology and Development.
  • Psychology
  • Human Rights
  • Law
  • Criminology
  • Public Service interpreting

To qualify for the free community provision, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • You are from an area of socio-economic deprivation or low participation in higher education
  • You receive qualifying benefits such as Universal Credit
  • You belong to a Black, Asian, or minority ethnic group
  • You are a refugee or asylum seeker
  • You have a disability
  • You are a carer
  • You are a Care Leaver or Care Experienced
  • You identify as LGBTQ+
  • Your parents/guardians are not educated to a higher education level

We also welcome emails from organisations and centres interested in collaborating to deliver community courses.
