The Medicines Discovery Institute is a bridge between the basic science developed at Cardiff University, and the clinical research required to establish the safety and effectiveness of a new drug. Poorly treated illnesses place an enormousburden on society and the costs continue to increase. Better medicines can alleviate this burden yet the path of drug discovery, from the laboratory bench to the bedside, is notoriously long and difficult.
Professor Simon Ward Director, Medicines Discovery Institute

We are now looking to recruit exceptional scientists and support staff from around the world to help us shape and deliver our future vision.
