Cardiff University are running a clinical trial to investigate a new drug, called MDI-26478, developed by the Medicines Discovery Institute for the potential treatment of a range of diseases associated with the brain and central nervous system, including schizophrenia.

The trial is funded by the Wellcome Trust.

The clinical trial is recruiting healthy males and females (of non-childbearing potential) aged between 18 and 55.

The trial is managed by Simbec-Orion, based in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Find out more information about potentially taking part in the study.
