Entry requirements for Uruguay
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we want to ensure the welfare of our staff and students. Our staff won't be able to attend international exhibitions or events at this time but you can still get in touch.
Entry onto our courses will depend on the qualifications you have been awarded in Uruguay and your English language ability.
International Foundation Programme
If you have graduated from the national high school system, you may be required to successfully complete an International Foundation Year before entering our undergraduate courses.
You will need to have completed A-levels, IB, Foundation course or year one of a relevant bachelor’s degree.
You will need to have completed a Titulo de Licenciado with a final grade of at least 7/12
Postgraduate research courses
If you are applying for research courses from Uruguay you will be required to provide evidence that you have already carried out research, usually via the successful completion of a relevant masters' degree.
You will need to have successfully completed the Título de Maestría / Magíster with a final grade of at least 7/12.
A relevant English language qualification is also required — normally a minimum of 6.5 IELTS, however, this may vary from course to course.
If you are unsure of your qualifications or entry requirements, please contact us.
UK Government Chevening Scholarships are available for Uruguayan students to study in the UK.
