During the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we want to ensure the welfare of our staff and students. Our staff won't be able to attend international exhibitions or events at this time but you can still get in touch.

We offer a range of highly prestigious international scholarships designed to attract and reward the best students, but prospective students from the USA also have access to additional scholarships.

These awards are available to US graduates for pre-doctoral study in the UK. Awards are made on a competitive basis with preference given to academically or artistically outstanding students.

Post-doctoral research

Fulbright also offers a Cardiff-specific award for students undertaking post-doctoral research in a number of subjects.

Marshall Scholarships

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom.

At least forty scholars are selected each year to study at graduate or, occasionally, undergraduate level at an UK institution in any field of study. Each scholarship is held for two years.

Single Parent Scholarships

The Custody X Change Giving Program awards three scholarships each year to single parents from the USA who are studying in the UK.

This programme was set up to help single parents wanting to study not just in the United States, but around the world.
