Scholarships
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we want to ensure the welfare of our staff and students. Our staff won't be able to attend international exhibitions or events at this time but you can still get in touch.
Fulbright Scholarships
There are no age or subject restrictions for Fulbright Scholarships. The awards cover air fares, tuition fees and maintenance grant.
The types of available award are:
Scholars
These are available for lecturing or advanced research for a minimum of three months.
Graduates
These awards are available to US graduates for pre-doctoral study in the UK. Awards are made on a competitive basis with preference given to academically or artistically outstanding students.
Post-doctoral research
Fulbright also offers a Cardiff-specific award for students undertaking post-doctoral research in a number of subjects.

Marshall Scholarships
Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom.
At least forty scholars are selected each year to study at graduate or, occasionally, undergraduate level at an UK institution in any field of study. Each scholarship is held for two years.
Single Parent Scholarships
The Custody X Change Giving Program awards three scholarships each year to single parents from the USA who are studying in the UK.
This programme was set up to help single parents wanting to study not just in the United States, but around the world.
