Early Stage Researcher PhD 2015

  • Research interests focus on human and organisational decision-making, often technology-mediated, mobile and cyber, and the internet of things (IOT); in particular, perceptions of trust, vulnerability and risk - under conditions of uncertainty
  • Research also looks at security standards, guidelines and governance, for example, the Data Protection Act, DPA:1998 and the forthcoming General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR:2018
  • Output in the pipeline includes two peer-review conference papers accepted for the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) 2017 and a paper under review with a 4* journal
  • Additional output and impact arise through membership of the British Standards Institute, Technical Committee, Societal Security Management SSM/ 01 (UK Cabinet Office) and the ASIS International Commission on Standards and Guidelines
  • Current funded projects include, the independent audit of an application for resilient communities, ARC (London First)
