My research and teaching interests include the representation of asylum seekers and refugees in the British media and the history and development of the popular press. I am also interested in advertising, propaganda and political communication

- War, Politics and Propaganda.
Previous modules include the History of Mass Communication, Media and the Public Sphere, National Cinema and Academic Study, Propaganda and the Reporting of Conflict.
As a member of the Tom Hopkinson Center for Media research, research and teaching interests include the representation of asylum seekers and refugees in the British media and the history and development of the popular press. I am also interested in propaganda and communication and the role and function of Welsh media.
