2014 Cardiff graduate becomes youngest ordained Baptist Minister in England & Wales

2014 Religious Studies graduate Samuel Hackett has been successful in his appointment as Minister of Ruddington Baptist Church near Nottingham.

He becomes the youngest ever ordained Baptist Minister in England and Wales on taking up his appointment next month.

Sam simultaneously undertook his ministerial training at South Wales Baptist College whilst studying for his undergraduate degree.

He tell us: 'These have been the most intellectually challenging, fun and exciting years of my life so far. Cardiff University has provided me and great balance of study and life experience. Over the last few years I feel that I have developed intellectually and spiritually and have learnt the meaning of hard work.'
