Transport

We encourage you to use public transport to get to Cardiff wherever possible and to use active travel modes when in Cardiff.

Parking

For those who wish to drive, parking will be available at Colum and Aberconway Halls for the duration of the conference. The accommodation is within a 5-10 minute walk from the conference venue. Those who require a parking pass can indicate at the point of registration or by emailing swsbc17@cardiff.ac.uk. Parking passes will be issued electronically prior to the conference start.

Limited on-street ‘pay and display’ parking is also available around the conference venue on Park Place, Senghennydd Road and within the civic centre. This costs around £5 for up to five hours. Payment is by coin or debit/credit card.

Accommodation

Accommodation for delegates will be provided at Colum and Aberconway Halls of Residence which are a 5-10 minute walk from the main conference site.

This will include breakfast at the Julian Hodge refectory, located across the road from the accommodation, on the morning of Tuesday 4 July 2017.
