Health and wellbeing

We are delivering health, wellbeing and social care initiatives that help identify and tackle health inequalities, and keep people well through prevention alongside patients and the public.

Our researchers work across disciplines to tackle major health challenges facing society and to deliver meaningful impact.

We believe that research belongs to everyone - our public engagement seeks to break down the barriers between research and society.

Patients and members of the public have valuable knowledge and experience to contribute to health research. Taking part in research benefits their own health and wellbeing and provides opportunities to help us find solutions to issues that matter to them.

We value diverse forms of knowledge by collaborating with the public. Inviting communities to help shape and inform our work results in richer, impactful research, where the perspectives and experiences of all are shared and valued.
