Run the Newport Wales Marathon with #TeamCardiff
Experience one of the UK's flattest marathons and go for a PB at the ABP Newport Wales Marathon on 28 April 2024.
New to #TeamCardiff is the ABP Newport Wales Marathon. We’ve secured a very limited number of charity places in this popular race which boasts one of the flattest marathon courses in Europe. Over 70% of all finishers have claimed a PB on a route that offers iconic landmarks like the city’s Transporter Bridge and the picturesque Gwent Levels.
As part of #TeamCardiff you can choose to support either Cardiff University’s neuroscience and mental health, or cancer research. By supporting the next generation of researchers, you can help accelerate life-changing discoveries to improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for people living with a wide range of conditions.
Cancer researchers at Cardiff University are improving outcomes for people living with some of the most common cancers such as breast, prostate and bowel, as well as those that are rarer or hard to treat.
Cardiff University’s neuroscience and mental health researchers are developing new treatments for a wide range of debilitating conditions including ADHD, depression, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer’s.
