Learned Society of Wales
The Learned Society of Wales was founded in May 2010.
Its aims are:
- celebrating and encouraging excellence in all scholarly disciplines
- promoting learning and scholarship
- demonstrating the excellence of Welsh research.
The criteria that have been adopted for election to the Fellowship of the Learned Society of Wales are based on the standards of excellence and achievement in academia and on contributions to the world that are used by other learned societies.
We are proud that a number of our academics have been elected as fellows of the society.
