(Joint Social Science Degree Programmes)

Monday 23rd September Your first important meeting in SOCSI is the School Welcome on Monday 23rd September 2013.  You will be sent details of where and what time you should attend (either am or pm). At this event you will be given your enrolment paperwork and given the name of your Personal Tutor.  After the School Welcome, you are advised to go and find your tutor's office and sign up for a meeting. Your personal tutor will post exact times on their office door.

Tuesday 24th September Your first Personal Tutor Meeting will then take place on Tuesday 24th September. You should have signed up to an appointment after your School Welcome talk on Monday.

Wednesday 25th September Enrolment is an on-line task which must be completed AFTER you have met with your personal tutor to discuss your module selections. To access the on-line task log on to SIMS online using the log in details that have been issued to you. You will be asked to confirm your programme of study and select your modules. You can do the online task remotely using your own computer or use a University computer.  The SOCSI computer lab (Room 0.88) will be open from 9.00am to 4.00pm on Wednesday 26th September for students to use. Staff will be available in the SOCSI computer lab/SOCSI Undergraduate Office if students require help or get into any difficulty with the online task.
