Criminology
Criminology is the field of study that focuses on crime, victimisation and responses to crime.
Our courses are interdisciplinary and explore sociological, psychological and political approaches to the subject area.

You will build up a range of skills and knowledge and develop a critical understanding of the processes of criminological research and debates, and the operation of the criminal justice system.
As a criminology student you will benefit from being part of a research-inspired environment and have the opportunity to participate in criminological research projects and visits.
Having the freedom in assignments to add contemporary ideas, such as recent crime or social events, I feel as if the studies are more relevant to society, keeping me engaged.
