Creative Minds scholarships

Three undergraduate scholarships, worth £1,000 each, are currently available to students electing to study Welsh with us.

Applicants are asked to create an entry which reflects and articulates their interest in Welsh.

• What makes you stand out?
• Why should Cardiff University and the School of Welsh accept you?

You can send the application to us in any form – and the creativity of the application is taken into consideration. Here are some ideas for how to present your application: video, podcast, poster, song, presentation, piece of writing, poem…. anything. Be as creative as possible!

The closing date for applications is 1 March 2024.

Cardiff University bursaries

Cardiff University Bursaries are available to full-time undergraduate students from low income homes who will be starting their studies in September.

Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol scholarship

The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol offers a range of scholarships for undergraduate students who will be studying through the medium of Welsh.

One of the scholarships is earmarked for students coming to study Welsh (Single Honours) with us. The scholarship is awarded based on responses to the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol application form.
