Why study Biological Sciences?

Biological Sciences is the study of life itself – from the smallest living organism to the largest. It plays a crucial role in finding solutions to some of society’s biggest challenges – from healthcare and food security to biodiversity loss and climate change.

Biology at Cardiff University offered a wide-range of first year modules which allowed me to discover my main interests and enthusiasm of the subject. This allowed the appropriate specialism in the second and final year.
