Why come to an Open Day

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The following information relates to our traditional Open Days that are currently suspended due to coronavirus (COVID-19). Although we cannot welcome you physically on campus, you can join us for our Virtual Open Day on Friday 3 July 2020.

Our Undergraduate Open Days give prospective students a chance to get a real first-hand experience of the University and the city.

The day is tailored for those considering applying to study an Undergraduate course with us and gives you a chance to get to know what it would be like to be a student with us.

The day will give you the chance to:

  • tour the campus
  • see the Students’ Union
  • visit a range of student residences
  • visit Academic School buildings and speak to admissions tutors
  • attend subject specific talks to explore your subject in more detail
  • drop-in to our advice shops
  • visit our sports facilities
  • watch our student-led films
  • tour the city.

If you are already an offer holder you are also very welcome to visit. However, we also have offer holder days which are focused specifically around subject areas. Your Academic School will contact you with more information about these events.
