Visiting Academic Schools

Offer-holder open days

All Academic Schools hold individual open days for students holding offers from the University. These invite-only events will be sent to you via post or email. They will typically introduce you to the school, staff and academics as well as giving you a great opportunity to meet students who may be on your course.

During the Open Day, the school will provide you with more information about the course, scholarship information and an in-depth tour of your potential School or College.

Medicine and Dentistry

Cardiff undergraduates acquire a high level of laboratory skills
The School of Medicine's undergraduate students acquire a high level of laboratory skills.

As well as University open days, special information events are held by the School of Medicine and School of Dentistry. This allows prospective students, parents, applicants, teachers and careers advisors to gain a more in-depth understanding of the school's courses and the facilities on offer.

You'll get a chance to:

  • meet admissions staff
  • chat to current students
  • explore our facilities
  • try out your clinical skills under supervision.
