Cardiff is located on the coast of south Wales and is easy to reach from many places in the UK and overseas.
Cardiff is an accessible city, benefiting from excellent road, rail and air communications. Using the high-speed train service, London is reached in approximately two hours.
Both Cardiff and Bristol Airports have many direct flights to UK and European cities on budget carriers and London airports are easily accessible by both bus and train.
The student residential areas of Cathays and Roath are both within walking distance to the city centre.
Not only is Cardiff University an excellent institution, but it is located in one of the most student friendly cities. For Cardiff university students everything is walking distance away!
