The MA Translation Studies student talks about her supportive and encouraging lecturers and how Cardiff is a “lively friendly city with a great student life”.

"My time at Cardiff has gone far too quickly and I would love to be able to repeat the experience again."

Amy McGregor, MA Translation Studies

"After completing my undergraduate degree in Spanish at Cardiff University, I knew I wanted to continue studying there.

"Cardiff is a lively, friendly city with a great student life and is within easy travelling distance of other interesting places such as London, Bath and the Gower Peninsula.

"I was also very happy in my department and felt that my lecturers were very supportive and encouraging. They always had the time outside of my classes to give me useful feedback and ideas.

"The University has a lot to offer postgraduate students. There is the Graduate Centre, which is open until very late and is a great place to study and meet new people from all over the world. There are also plenty of excursions and activities for postgrad students so there is always something going on!"
