Clearing, RPA and late applicants

Talybont North
The university has 17 residences with over 5,500 bedrooms.

If you applied for a place to study outside of the normal UCAS admissions cycle, i.e. after 30 June 2019.

We accommodate Clearing/RPA/late applicant students in our student residences on a first-come first-served basis.

We will start processing applications no later than Monday 2 September 2019. While we will do our best to allocate such students accommodation, if this is not possible we will provide support and guidance in securing private sector accommodation.

What do I need to do?

Once you have accepted your offer to study on a firm basis we will email you with instructions on how you can apply for University residences online. The sooner you apply for a place in University residences, the more likely it is that we will be able to offer you a place. We will start processing applications no later than Monday 2 September 2019.

We will keep you up to date about the availability of rooms and do our very best to find you suitable accommodation. We will advise you if we are unable to accommodate you in University residences and will provide advice and guidance on finding suitable accommodation in the private sector.

If you have been unable to find a place in private sector accommodation and a vacancy has not become available in University residences before Enrolment week, then we will have a number of rooms in temporary hotel accommodation which will be available to you for a limited amount of time (during September/October) for which a nominal charge will be made. As a guide, the charge for session 2018/2019 was £15 per night.
