Wales Centre for Evidence Based Care - A Joanna Briggs Institute Centre of Excellence
A collaborating centre of the Joanna Briggs Institute aiming to develop the science of implementation and promote evidence-based practice.
We promote evidence-based practice through the development and evaluation of internationally excellent systems for evidence appraisal, translation and utilisation.
As a JBI Centre of Excellence we have an inclusive approach to evidence in order to produce usable "real world" clinical guidelines.
Services
We offer consultancy and guidance on the production of systematic reviews and implementation projects using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) appraisal, implementation and management tools.
These are specifically designed to assist healthcare professionals in implementing evidence-based practice and provide the best possible patient care. We can deliver a bespoke one day training programme, for a minimum of six delegates, ‘Translating evidence into Practice,’ which can be delivered in your workplace.
An example of how the centre can support you in implementing evidence-based practice.
