This course is aimed at students who have no knowledge of Italian.

It focuses on speaking and understanding the language in practical contexts. Ideal if you want a taste of Italian!

The emphasis of the course is on participation and practice. You will be encouraged to actively participate in class through various non-threatening forms of activities designed to stimulate communication.

Learning and teaching

There will be 2 hours tuition via live-webinars and 1.5 hour scheduled preparation for each session.

Each session will total 18 hours with a mixture of live sessions and preparatory sessions. You will receive the link to the Zoom session a few days before the course commences.

Audio material is available throughout the summer via our online learning platform.
