Are you an absolute beginner in German? Would you like to learn a few survival sentences and be able to get along in everyday situations?
The course is based on a communicative approach and the following topics will be covered:
- Greetings and farewells
- talking about yourself and your family
- talking about work and studies
- shopping
- food and drink.

The emphasis of the course is on participation therefore you will be encouraged to actively participate in class.

Coursework and assessment
This course has no formal assessment. Both your attendance and your participation in class will count towards the credits. Our assessments are flexible to suit the course and the student.
The most important element of assessment is that it should enhance your learning.
Our methods are designed to increase your confidence and we try very hard to devise ways of assessing you that are enjoyable and suitable for adults with busy lives.
