Neurodevelopment Assessment Unit team
Meet our NDAU research team including placement students and co-investigators.
Placement students
I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing team during my placement year, as a part of my Psychology undergraduate degree. Caring for the cognitive, emotional and developmental wellbeing of children is so important, so it is a privilege to contribute to that mission here at the NDAU. I am excited to deepen my understanding of neurodevelopment while working alongside those who share my passion for helping people feel truly seen and understood. Collaborating with educational psychologists will provide insight into the way assessments can empower families and lead to better support, unique to the strengths of the child.
I am an undergraduate student studying psychology at Cardiff University, delighted to be carrying out my placement at the NDAU. I am excited to be part of the team and work with children and parents. I have a passion for developmental psychology sparked by previous work experience, and I look forward to furthering my knowledge through this opportunity and contributing to the support families receive from the NDAU. This placement is a valuable step towards my future career working with children.
I am an undergraduate Psychology student at Cardiff University, and I am excited to be completing my placement year with the NDAU. My passion for educational psychology and supporting children with neurodivergent minds has grown through my studies and my ongoing work in a local nursery. I am grateful for the opportunity to develop my research skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the understanding and support of children with diverse needs.
I am an undergraduate Psychology student at Cardiff University, pleased to be completing my placement year at the NDAU. I’m passionate about supporting children with varied emotional, cognitive, and behavioural needs, and I hope to pursue a career in developmental or educational psychology. My experience as a Teaching Assistant and youth volunteer, alongside my current role as a Childline counsellor, has deepened my interest in early intervention and child well-being. I’m especially drawn to the NDAU’s holistic approach to neurodiversity and am excited to be working with the children, their families, and the dedicated team here.
