This two-day event aims to expand our knowledge of female transgression in East Asian (and diaspora) screen cultures. It will feature talks and presentations by more than 30 scholars, plus a special screening and roundtable featuring media practitioners and experts.
This event is supported by the Academy of Korean Studies, the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation and the British Academy. It is funded by the Transnational Cultural and Visual Studies research theme.
Registration
The registration fee is £60 for both days and includes refreshments, lunches and a wine reception. Register online via Eventsforce. The deadline for registration is 15 May 2024.
Refunds will only be issued in the event the symposium is cancelled.
