Vida Engineering is an innovative company at the forefront of improving rider communication and agility in motor racing.​

Hartree Centre Cardiff Hub experts provided guidance on how to incorporate some state-of-the-art LLM technologies to improve communication.

We are incredibly grateful to the Hartree team for their invaluable support in our product development journey, saving us at least three years of research time. Their advanced AI and data science expertise has been truly transformative, enabling us to analyse and interpret complex vehicle telemetry data with far greater depth and precision. This collaboration uncovered hidden patterns that have accelerated our mission, driving innovation and enhancing both rider performance and safety through our products.​We are excited to continue working with the Hartree team to unlock the full potential of this innovative solution and make waves, first in the motorcycle world, and ultimately across the entire motorsport industry.

Part of the approach focused on ensuring the knowledge provided by the LLMs is accurate and based trustable sources of information. HCCH also explored how LLMs could be used as interfaces to other tools developed by VIDA-Engineering, to provide a more user-friendly way to interact to the users.

This company received an approximately 12-hour interaction focused on a specific business problem or technology area and a 1-3 month collaboration focused on developing and testing a specific idea.
