Onya Therapeutics

Onya Therapeutics is a biotech start-up, based in Wales, UK, focused on the development of wound care therapies. They focus on developing novel wound care treatments that speed up healing and help restore a patient’s quality of life. Their products are designed to treat wounds with technologies that deliver superior clinical outcomes for patients.

AI will be central to how we move forward at Onya – from interrogating published data and technical reports to strengthening our clinical and manufacturing strategies. Used intelligently, it enables us to make faster, better-informed decisions as we advance PP01.

The Hartree Centre Cardiff Hub (HCCH) outlined AI approaches to processing medical publications relating to wound care. The team also advised on multiple approaches for processing wound images and data requirements.
