Using AI to help predict food trends​.

Lucy Thomas began her career at Unilever after completing a BSc in Food Science at Reading University. She then spent a decade at Innocent Drinks company before training as a chef and going freelance. She is considering the application of artificial intelligence driven techniques to predict food trends. ​

Hartree Centre Cardiff Hub (HCCH) experts explored the suitability of using knowledge graph augmented large language models with food sector data to support creating food trends reports. HCCH made recommendations that now underpin an exciting new business venture.
