We do not want the cost of Graduation to deter anyone from attending. Contact us to find out more about the support available.

Financial assistance programme

If you are facing financial hardship with the cost of Graduation, you can apply to the Financial Assistance Programme Award via the student intranet (students should use their university log-in) before the end date of their course to see if you are eligible for support.

Postgraduate students whose course date has ended, but are graduating this year, can also apply for (means-tested) financial assistance with their Graduation costs by emailing fapa@cardiff.ac.uk.

Together at Cardiff

If you are registered for Together at Cardiff support, our community for care experienced, carers, estranged students, military experienced and asylum seekers, you will automatically receive their Graduation gown for free and will be contacted about this in May.
