Support for graduates

Last updated: 19/03/2024 11:38

Graduation may mark the end of your current studies, but it isn't goodbye.

The Cardiff experience goes beyond your time on campus. Upon graduation, you will become part of our alumni family – a vibrant global community that dates back more than 130 years. As part of this community, you can access various support, advice and opportunities.

We need to keep in touch after your course ends to send you important information, career, mentoring, networking and professional development opportunities, and discounts on further study.

Keep your contact details up-to-date to ensure that we can continue to contact you beyond graduation.

If you are a current student, update your post-graduation contact details via SIMS online to use a non cardiff.ac.uk email address and opt-in to communications.

If you are an alumnus, update your contact details with the Alumni Office.

Your health and wellbeing

If you have been receiving support from our Counselling, Health and Wellbeing team, please discuss your future support requirements with your Counsellor or Wellbeing Practitioner, as they can liaise with your GP if required.

You can continue to access our self-help resources relating to emotional and physical health whilst you have access to the intranet.

Also, as a graduate, be aware that depending on where you live, you may need to register with a new General Practitioner (GP).
