1.1. This will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount only and cannot be used in place of any required deposit. No cash alternative is available.

    2. Applications will be assessed on the quality of the scholarship application and academic application, along with predicted and final grades.

2.1 Successful applicants need to meet the original, published admissions criteria for their programme. Applicants who are awarded a scholarship but do not meet the original, published admissions criteria will have the scholarship rescinded.

2.2 Successful applicants will be required to confirm acceptance of the scholarship within 14 days of it being awarded. Failure to accept within this period may result in the award being reallocated.

    3. The scholarship is for entry into Cardiff University in the autumn semester of the academic year 2026/27 only and cannot be used in any other year of entry. It is for year one entry only.

3.1. If you are a deferred offer holder, you must have met the original, published admissions criteria for your programme for 2026/27 entry to be considered for the scholarship.

3.2. If you are awarded a scholarship and wish to defer your entry to the university your scholarship will not be transferred. However, you will be eligible to apply for scholarships applicable for 2027/28 entry.
