Collecting, preserving and making accessible heritage.

Firing Line leads on a First Work War Steering Group in Cardiff comprising heritage, culture and educational providers as part of the HLF Funded Cardiff Remembers Project.

The project collects and preserves heritage relating to the history of 1st Queen's Dragoon Guards and The Royal Welsh. This includes the antecedent regiments: Queen's Bays, King's Dragoon Guards, 41st and 69th Regiments of Foot, Welch/Welsh Regiment, Royal Regiment Wales.

Available resources include:

• a collection and archives relating to the story of the Welsh Soldier
• outcomes and outputs that will be/are being delivered as part of HLF funded Cardiff Remembers Project
• a meeting room space that can be hired
• access to grant funding streams which could add to the research of project plans
• future grant applications that involve engagement with communities.
